Wonky Pastel Honeycomb

Every week, Spoonflower hosts a design challenge. Spoonflower defines a theme, designers design their designs, and then the world selects the winner, who gets a $100 account credit. Yay!

I entered the challenge for the first time this week with this design, Wonky Pastel Honeycomb:

The theme for this challenge was “Limited Color Palette” featuring gray, cream, cucumber, and peach, with black and white if desired (clearly, I desired). According to Spoonflower, there are “the hottest colors from this wedding season,” but the design did not have to be wedding-themed.

My design doesn’t look super wedding-y, but I was thinking about this pattern as something to use as an accent at a wedding. Cushions, maybe, or a tablecloth?

There are a lot of really pretty designs entered in this challenge. You can see them and vote for your favorites here. You can vote for as many designs as you like. I voted for around 20 designs (not for myself 20 times, I promise).
