I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. Ours was great! My mom was here, as was my brother and his girlfriend. We had good food and good times. Yay!
I also got some fabric samples in the mail this weekend. Another yay! With these designs, I tried to create collections, rather than the one-off designs I usually make. I have three collections to share with you today. And…Spoonflower has extended their weekend sale through today, so you can save 10% on your order through 11/29/16 at 11:59 Eastern. Woo-hoo!
First up is the Bright Trees collection:
I made the rows of trees on red and yellow design first, then made a few more patterns based on the tall triangle trees. I created a confetti design, some stars, and a stripe. I also added solid swatches to the collection as coordinates. You can purchase any of these designs on fabric, gift wrap, or wallpaper in my Spoonflower shop.
Check these designs out on stockings! Ahh! I love them! You can order these cut-and-sew stockings from my shop at Sprout Patterns.
Next is the Holiday Stars collection:
This collection is bright and cheery! I started with the four-point star grid in multiple colors, then created the single-color versions. I added the solid coordinates and another multi-color design in a random arrangement to round out the collection. All of these designs are available on fabric, gift wrap, and wallpaper in my Spoonflower shop.
I made stockings with these designs, too. Again, I love them! These are available on Sprout Patterns.
My final collection uses a more traditional red and green Christmas palette and my beloved hexagons. This is the Holiday Hexies collection:
So many hexies! Even those white stripes are really tiny white hexagons right up next to each other to make little zig-zag lines. These designs are all available in my Spoonflower shop.
And the stockings…
I ordered the honeycomb design for myself last night! It looks like it will be fairly simple to put together. The great thing about Sprout is that you can choose solid coordinates for your desired pattern while you are creating your piece, so even though I don’t have a solid green in this collection, I was able to easily add the matching solid cuff and strap. Head on over to my Sprout shop to make your own, and hang so many stocking with care this season!
Until next time,
P.S. – All of these designs are available in my Roostery, Society6, and RedBubble shops, too. Pillows, totes, rugs, towels, clothes, notebooks…they are all there and ready to add a festive touch to your home this holiday season!
