I started this design by playing around with shapes in Adobe Illustrator. I created that rectangle shape and really liked it. I didn’t know what to call it then, and I’m still not sure what to call it now, other than a “pinched rectangle.” I used some nice pastel pinks and grays with it, and the design became Soft Pinched Rectangles:
