Columbines Surface Pattern Design Collection | Annie C Designs

Columbines Collection

I have several new designs to share with you today. In fact, they all go together into a collection—a Columbines Collection:

Columbines Surface Pattern Design Collection | Annie C Designs

Mike and I love columbines and we have planted many of them in our yard. The pink and yellow variety that inspired this collection is in our front yard, and Mike started those little guys from seed a couple of years ago. They grew like crazy this spring and I took a bunch of pictures of them. I used some of those photos to guide me as a made these designs.

I started with the little dotted flowers pattern, then made the varied-size scattered pattern. I isolated the center of the flower to create the four burst-y patterns.

The Columbines Collection fabrics, gift wrap, and wall paper is in my Spoonflower shop.

I added the flower designs to dresses and the burst designs to blouses in my Sprout Patterns shop. You can make each of these garments yourself with a pattern printed right on the fabric! Pictured above are the Scattered Columbines Dress, the Dotted Columbines Dress, the Olive Columbine Burst Blouse, the Blue Columbine Burst Blouse, the Yellow Columbine Burst Shirt, and the Pink Columbine Burst Shirt.

I love all of these pillows! Pillows, furniture, and kitchen linens are available in my Roostery shop in the Scattered and Dotted Columbine patterns and the Olive, Blue, Yellow, and Pink Burst designs.

Until next time,
Annie
